NOWTHEN, MN, May 17, 2023 - Daniel Hoemberg has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Backed by years of experience in product development, automation, machining, and more, Mr. Hoemberg presently serves as a manufacturing engineer for Polaris Inc. In this capacity, he is involved with engine cases for the company's Indian motorcycle line. In addition to creating new products, he liaises with designers regarding their manufacturing needs, educates others in his department, and consults for the general manager and operations manager. Prior to obtaining his current position, Mr. Hoemberg worked as a manufacturing engineer in the Machining Division of Kurt Manufacturing Company.
During the early stages of his career, Mr. Hoemberg gained valuable expertise in engineering, management, manufacturing, and machining through varying roles with Industrial Tool, Inc., Carbide Tool Services, Command Tooling Systems, and Mate Precision Tooling. In conjunction with his work, he contributes to his community as a volunteer with the Minnesota Street Rod Association, through which he helps set up commercial vendors on the Minnesota State Fairgrounds.
An expert in his field, Mr. Hoemberg earned an associate degree in tool room machining through the Staples Technical Institute in 1983. Subsequently, he received a certification in manufacturing systems from the University of St. Thomas in 2002, a bachelor's degree in manufacturing management from the University of Minnesota, Crookston in 2011, and a Six Sigma Green Belt Certification in 2017. In light of his outstanding body of work, Mr. Hoemberg was honored in the Top 2% of College Graduates in the United States.
While his career has been filled with standout moments, Mr. Hoemberg is most proud of earning his bachelor's degree and graduating with a 4.0 GPA while working full time. Though hard work and dedication have brought him far in his career, he credits his overall success to having the ability to see what lies ahead and determine the necessary steps to meet his end goals. Looking ahead, Mr. Hoemberg intends to become an engineering consultant in the development of machining cells. Personally, he wants to focus on his love of refurbishing old muscle cars.
