COLUMBUS, GA, May 06, 2023 - Retired Air Force Reservist Patrick S. Smith announces the release of his first poetry book The Chaos of Me (ISBN: 9798392587896), which is a poetic glimpse into events that shaped him and his philosophy.
His poems span thirty-five years and range from musings as a teenager in high school, to 9-11, to reflections with some humor mixed in. He even jokes, in verse, about what pushed him to write poetry to begin with.
"If poetry doesn't invoke something in the reader, it is merely 'words on a page,'" Patrick S. Smith says of his poetry, and several readers have said he has hit that mark with comments such as "powerful," "moving," and "intense."
The Chaos of Me is scheduled to be released on September 18th on Amazon and will be available on Kindle and paper back. An audio version read by Patrick S. Smith will also be available.

Patrick S. Smith was born in Giles County, Virginia and grew up mainly in South Carolina. He now lives in Columbus, Georgia with his wife and daughters. After serving in the U. S. Air Force Reserves, he now writes to bring forth the creations of his imagination and tell of his life experiences and views.
