A seasoned mechanical industrial psychologist and a world-renowned authority on the handwriting of serial killers, he has also authored the book "Serial Killers: Their Lives, Their Crimes, and Their Handwriting," which delves into the lives, crimes, and handwriting styles of 34 of the most notorious serial killers. Likewise, Dr. Blumenthal authored such books as "The Brass Compass," "Monkey Trial-Judgment Day," "Lauren-The Advantages of a Teenage Detective," which was dedicated to his late daughter, and "Lauren II: The Adventures of a Teenage Detective."
An expert in his field, Dr. Blumenthal holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, which he earned in 1960. Subsequently, he received a degree in industrial psychology from the Derby College of Technology and a PhD in mechanical engineering from the University of Witwatersrand. Looking ahead, Dr. Blumenthal intends to promote his public speaking role.
