Carboxylated Latex Particles are solid suspensions (10%) of carboxyl-modified polystyrene (latex) particles available in a wide array of sizes ranging from 60 nm to 400 nm (mean diameter). Available carboxyl groups allow for fast and stable covalent linkage to proteins, antigens and antibodies as well as small molecules. With superior stability, high binding capacity and ultra-high specificity (low background), these particles have been extensively validated in immuno-turbidimetric assays.
