May 07, 2021 - Quanterm Logistics Sdn Bhd recently announced that it has achieved the certificate of GDPMD - Good Distribution Practice for Medical Devices. Quanterm has gained the official license released by Medical Device Authority Malaysia (License No: MDA-1958-D121), which indicates our compliance with the GDPMD rules in handling all the Import & Export activities, Storage & Handling, Warehousing & Distributions, Transportation and Documentation as well as the traceability of medical devices.
This accredited certificate was issued by the Medical Device Authority Malaysia which has assessed Platinum Shauffmantz Veritas against defined criteria and in cognizance of the Medical Device Act 2012 (Act 737). Maintaining medical device safety and reliability throughout the supply chain & improving quality assurance throughout the distribution process is a key priority for the Medical Device Authority of Malaysia.
With this certificate & license, Quanterm ensures to have a standard distribution system in place for medical device products. This implies that the quality of the medical devices is retained throughout the storage and distribution process.
