According to Basabe, we need to begin to look at psychological traits because despite international outrage at Floyds death, the police shootings have continued over relatively minor offenses. "As a country", she states, "We need to determine what personality types are ideal for policing".

The NFT is called Chauvin Monster. It is an image of Chauvin's head with red reptile eyes and skulls for hair that come to points, where horns might have been. The NFT may be seen on the Open Sea website site under Basabex. Corinne Basabe is a fine artist and a television producer. She is the youngest daughter of Roy Innis, now deceased, former Chairman of the Congress of Racial Equality. She is also the granddaughter and great granddaughter of men who were in law enforcement.

Art, she believes, should compel one to look closer. In recent months, she has worked as the Chairwoman, of the George Floyd Justice Billboard Committee placing billboards around the country. The mission of the George Floyd Justice Billboard Project is to use the intersection of art and activism to start a dialogue about injustice. Billboards were placed in Times Square, New York City, Atlanta, Georgia, Los Angeles, California, and Washington, DC.
