NORWALK, Conn. - April 14, 2021 - Free agent, Andy St. Fleur, recently partnered with Midnight Run NYC to pass out dinner to the homeless community of New York City.
Andy St. Fleur is a free agent out of Norwalk, CT, and graduated from Western New England University where he played football as a wide receiver. He always does what he can to help out his community, and the Midnight Run was the perfect opportunity for him to get involved. St. Fleur and other volunteers spent the previous Saturday night driving around Manhattan giving chili and cornbread to the ones in need. The event went on from 7:30 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.
"I have a great deal of gratitude to be able to help provide relief efforts for the homeless with Midnight Run NYC," said St. Fleur. "It was so great to bond and have conversations with each and every one of them."
Midnight Run NYC runs over 1,000 relief missions each year with the help of churches, schools and other volunteers. Midnight Run's mission is to create a bond between housed and homeless people by establishing a foundation of sharing and caring from which solutions may evolve.
Midnight Run will have another similar event on May 8th and hope to see some new faces joining the organization's family. This event was a great experience for St. Fleur and he cannot wait for the next event.
