WEST BROMWICH, U.K. - April 6, 2021 - Wrights Plastics supply Point of Sale, Point of Purchase and retail display products to the retail sector, with 95% of their product range made at their West Bromwich factory.
The company welcomed the 12th April re-opening but thinks that retailers will need to react to changes in consumer behaviour to fully benefit from the re-opening.
A company spokesman said "Social distancing measures will remain in place, and this means fewer customers instore at any one time. So retailers will need to reduce customer dwell time in order to maximise the number of customers during opening hours.
"To do this clear communication is essential; customers need to be able to locate products, and find all the product information they need to make a buying decision as quickly as possible. Signs and posters will need to be used strategically to facilitate this.
"It is likely that staff will spend more time on safety matters so POS/ POP and retail displays will have to do more of the 'selling' than ever before. High impact displays will help and clearly printed pricing & product info will help 'seal the deal'
"Customer confidence is also a factor. Retailers will need to tell the story of their hardwork in making the shop as safe as possible, clearly communicate safety & social distancing policy as well make it easy for customers to know where to go to collect perhaps pre-ordered products & pay for their goods.
"Hygiene screens will still have a part to play – boosting customer confidence & maximising the useable space instore."
Since March 2020, much of the company's production capacity was switched to the manufacture of 'sneeze guards' and the company made &sold over 50000 worldwide.
Demand for Point of Sale and display products has increased since the Government set out the roadmap out of lockdown so the company believe they can satisfy demand in the run up to April 12th.
