LONDON - March 6, 2021 - RideRater has unveiled its UK Top 30 theme and amusement park rides, based on performance during the 2020 season.

In a year heavily affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Top 30 considers not only ride experience offered, but also the availability of rides compared to others.

A ride with a lot of downtime or limited opening hours for other reasons has a modest penalty applied.

Topping this year's list is the veteran wooden rollercoaster Grand National at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. In a close second is Nemesis at Alton Towers.

"It is not just about how good the ride is, it is also about how well it has been maintained and made available for guests to enjoy.

"Sadly there are a couple of truly excellent rides that did not operate at all during 2020 and therefore they cannot make the list.

"The list is therefore a dynamic reflection of what the UK theme and amusement park industry is offering its visitors."
