This initiative promotes our cognitive-enabled academic search engine which integrates academic support technology to simplify the elearning process for student users."
The Knobull Easy Switch program brings the "on-demand" world to students, allowing users to search for academic sources, anywhere, from any device they prefer. By tapping into academic search with learning support, Knobull now offers a secure, seamless elearning interface for users across the cloud ecosystem. The interface simplifies the users' academic support system, allowing them to quickly access academic links, ask questions or chat about school coursework needs.
Bentley and his team created the following theme to boost a classy light switch graphic, "Now we have an 'easy switch' for student life—Knobull. That was easy."
In addition, to facilitating simpler interactions with users, cognitive capabilities are built into the site and powered by personalization APIs. This helps the Knobull Easy Switch program team learn more about each student's preferences over time, including their ideal learning sources.

"Our collaboration with users puts academic support in the palm of the user's hand, streamlining learning systems and creating a frictionless user experience."
The Easy Switch imagery is being rolled out via Alpha Test to a subset of Knobull users. This will be followed by a broader Beta Test rollout to additional users.
Knobull is continuing to investigate other applications for the Easy Switch concept, including integrating additional APIs in the future that could help with other learning tasks. Other future applications could come from the Easy Switch "Internet for Education" capabilities, allowing it to seamlessly support a broad spectrum of US students.
