FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - March 1, 2021 - Porthole Cruise Magazine, the world's leading cruise consumer magazine celebrates its silver anniversary this year with a look back through the past quarter-century in cruising. The anniversary issue showcases covers through the years as well as fond memories from ship christenings and other making-of-the-magazine moments.
The Porthole Cruise brand is well known throughout the travel industry as a premiere resource for cruisers and travelers seeking out their next vacation destination. Editor-in-Chief of Porthole Cruise Magazine, Bill Panoff, attributes the success of the brand to Porthole Cruises' many partners throughout the years, and the talented individuals that brought the magazine to life.
"It is the many talented collaborators over the past 25 years which has brought the best of Porthole Cruise Magazine to readers," says Bill Panoff. "Photographers like Harvey Lloyd and Michel Verdure hanging out of helicopters and speeding zodiacs, even clinging to the side of a ship for the right shot, photos have brought the ships to life. Expert travel writing from both staff and contributors has transported us to every new ship and the far-flung destinations they've described."
Porthole Cruise Magazine debuted the consumer version of the magazine in March 1996, and has inspired travelers to cruise through the pages with its ship reviews, destination features, and stunning photography. The magazine's silver anniversary kicks off today, with the debut of the April 2021 issue.
"It's been our honor to bring readers along with us for the many cruise travel adventures we've had in the pages of the magazine for over 150 issues," Panoff says.
The magazine is currently available by digital-subscription, and single copy sales on porthole.com, Apple iTunes, Google+, Amazon Kindle, PressReader, and Magzter digital newsstands.
