NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Feb. 26, 2021 - American singer-songwriter and musician, Dylan Hartigan showcases his poignant, deeply personal songwriting on his latest single, Moonlight, available everywhere today, February 26. Hartigan reminds us that inspiration is found in everyday life. It isn't always defined by the actions we take, but rather from the state of being we can experience while just living. It's the expression of the creative mind flowing through us.
"Word for word, breath for breath, it's a reenactment of the moment. I fell in love in a Brooklyn loft apartment. I had coffee bean curtains I had stolen from a coffee roastery nearby that formed orange crescent moons on my sheets when the sun hit them each morning. As she lay on my bed, with nothing but a million crescent moons on her body to keep her warm, I wasn't sure whether I should wake her up and tell her "I love you" or just stretch the moment for as long as I could. To this day I'm still not sure if I made the right decision."
Moonlight is the latest single from Dylan's upcoming album, "The Way My Bones Creak," co-produced by Grammy-nominated producer Bobby Holland (ZZ Ward, Kesha, Drake White) and singer/songwriter Maggie Rose, expected to release in late 2021.
