GREENVILLE, Pa. - Jan. 29, 2021 - Athens Area High School senior Lilian Sitzer, of Athens, Pa., was awarded a Dean's Award at Thiel College worth $32,000.
Sitzer is one of four winners for the Class of 2025 from among a field of 140 competitors. She joins Whetstone High School senior Dominic Panzo, of Columbus, Ohio; Lakeview High School senior Abigail Sefton, of Sandy Lake, Pa.; and Seton-La Salle High School senior Madeleine White, of Pittsburgh, Pa. as award winners.
Sitzer plans to major in Thiel College's (https://www.thiel.edu/admissions) new five-year program in communication sciences and disorders. Undergraduates accepted into the program will graduate in five years with a bachelor's and a master's degree.
