GREEN BAY, Wis. - Jan. 27, 2021 - RGL Logistics, a rapidly growing Green Bay-based provider of logistics services for traditional and e-commerce businesses, has completed the purchase of the former Fleet Farm warehousing and distribution center campus in Appleton. The 70-acre property includes five buildings encompassing 450,000 square feet of space, boosting RGL Logistics' total warehouse space to 4 million square feet.
"This purchase represents a step forward in our growth strategy as we expand service capabilities for our customers," said Joe Lemerond, Chief Executive Officer of RGL Logistics. "The demand for warehouse space has increased dramatically, particularly in the e-commerce sector as more business is conducted virtually than was predicted even a year ago."
The largest of the campus's buildings is located at 1300 S. Lynndale Dr. and features 272,750 square feet of warehouse space with 45 dock doors. The campus is conveniently located 2.4 miles from I-41 and 4.6 miles from Highway 441.
"This property provides a centrally located hub for our customers in the Fox Valley area," Lemerond said. "We are proud of our warehousing and distribution position throughout northeast Wisconsin, with excellent access to highway, rail and water."
RGL Logistics has been in business for over 118 years as Leicht Transfer & Storage Co., Checker Logistics, Inc., and RGL Specialty Services LLC operating divisions.
