FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Dec. 31, 2020 - In this season of giving, the Moss Foundation has selected four non-profit organizations to share in a $75,000 donation, so that all four may continue their essential missions of improving the lives of children in our South Florida community.
"In a year like no other, when non-profit organizations are in dire need, we are excited to be able to help these amazing organizations: Place of Hope, SOS Children's Villages, AMIkids and 4Kids of South Florida. We share a firm belief giving back to the community is always essential, but even more so this year," said Chad Moss, President of the Moss Foundation.
Place of Hope, a Palm Beach-based organization, will receive $20,000. The non-profit provides programs and services that help end abuse, neglect, homelessness, and human trafficking.
SOS Children's Villages, which is dedicated to the care of orphaned and abandoned children, will receive $20,000. They offer long-term care for children, work to prevent child abandonment, and provide empowering programming for children so they can reach their full potential.
AMIkids, a Fort Lauderdale-based non-profit organization, that helps children develop into responsible and productive citizens will receive $30,000 for their aquatics initiative.
Finally, $5,000 will go towards 4Kids of South Florida, a non-profit that was nominated by a business partner.
