WASHINGTON - Dec. 18, 2020 - The US High Speed Rail Association is pleased to announce that Alstom has joined the Association to continue supporting High Speed Rail in America. US President-Elect Joe Biden has promised to expand America's rail network to make it the "cleanest, safest, and fastest rail system in the world."
"We're proud to welcome Alstom to USHSR now as a Global VIP Member," said President Andy Kunz. "Alstom has long supported the mission of bringing HSR to America after decades of success in France and numerous other nations. Alstom has worked continuously for many years advancing high speed rail technologies - making trains ever faster, lighter, more energy efficient, safe and comfortable. We welcome Alstom's expertise and participation in the US high speed rail market, especially now that it's about to really take off under the new Biden administration."
