In his own practice, Dr Ali provides an array of cardiovascular and preventative medicine services with special interest in cardiac wellness and prevention. He has served as an advisor to internationally recognized pharmaceutical, medical device and MedTech companies. His practice has grown significantly more prevalent in clinical research, and is now a best practice for many research organizations.

Dr. Ali is a Clinical Assistant Professor at University of Texas Health Science Center. He has authored numerous academic journals and is an invited academic speaker both nationally and internationally on Hypertension and a range of health care topics. He has been featured nationally on the Dr Oz show, Fox and Friends, Channel 8 Bill of Health, and Discovery Channel.
He is one of the leading Cardiologists in the Greater Houston Area, and is a champion for management and prevention of hypertension, and has served as a Medical Expert for legislative efforts that pertain to this topic in Texas.
Dr. Ali has authored a cardiology book published by McGraw Hill and writes for UpToDate. He has served as Chief Medical Officer, Chief of Cardiology, and Chief of Education for various Houston hospitals. In addition, he is the past-president of Harris County Medical Society Western Branch and alternative delegate for Texas Medical Association. He works as a physician partner with the Houston Rocket's organization.
Raised in Houston, Dr. Ali graduated with a BS in Biology from Trinity University in San Antonio and completed his MD, residency in internal medicine, fellowship in cardiovascular medicine and faculty as a Clinical Assistant Professor from The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston at the Texas Medical Center.
