GRAVETTE, Ark. - Dec. 15, 2020 - The Shopping Spree Dream Giveaway, a nationwide drawing sponsored by New Beginning Children's Homes, ended on October 27, 2020. Michael Ansley, a Virginia resident, is the grand-prize winner of a $10,000 gift card to Amazon.com!
On October 27, 2020, Mr. Ansley entered the Shopping Spree Dream Giveaway. Little did he know that his last-minute donation to benefit eight amazing charities put the winning ticket in his hands! "I love helping others and giving to those in need," he said. "All the charities that my donation benefited are important to me. I love that I can help charities and also have a chance to win a great prize!"
On November 10, 2020, Mr. Ansley received a telephone call giving him the exciting news. "When I first got the call I didn't believe it was real," he said. "When they directed me to the Dream Giveaway winners page and I saw my name, then I started to believe it. It felt great to win especially during this terrible COVID year. The best part of winning was the utter surprise of winning such a large prize!"
Mr. Ansley is a retired Marine and is a current Civilian Government Employee at Marine Corps Base Quantico. In his free time he enjoys working on his 1968 Plymouth Barracuda. In fact, Mr. Ansley plans on buying a few parts for his 1968 Plymouth Barracuda with the gift card he won. He plans on using a portion of the grand-prize to buy gift cards for charity and his daughters.
For the people who have yet to enter a Dream Giveaway, Mr. Ansley had this to say, "You are missing out!"
