MONTVALE, N.J. - Nov. 28, 2020 - Sheryl Phillips, Director of Standards and Compliance for the American Association of Bariatric Counselors, is pleased to announce the appointment of Nashaat Tawfik, MBA, B.Sc. Pharmacy, CBE, to their Centers of Therapeutic Excellence (COTE) Advisory Board.
Currently, Mr. Tawfik serves as the Obesity Business Director for Novo Nordisk in Saudi Arabia. Previously at Novartis Pharma he headed up the Cardio Metabolic Business Unit in Saudi Arabia. As an educator he continues to conduct obesity/diabesity training for health professionals and develop community public health programs.
Director Phillips stated, "Because of Mr. Tawfik's organizational business acumen combined with his commitment to public health education, he is ideally suited to collaborate with COTE and join our specialized advisory board.
