DALLAS - Nov. 23, 2020 - With the recent rise of social media censorship, shadow banning, and other tactics to suppress freedom of speech, one media group is stepping up with a new release of their app.
Clapper Media Group Inc. has updated and rebranded the Clapper app, formerly known as NewsClapper. Clapper is a Tik Tok-style video-sharing app where all opinions matter and free speech reigns. Posts and comments are never censored, allowing for free expression of any personal opinions, political views, and videos of any type. The app's unique "opinion" feature allows users to publish their own video responses to content on the platform.

With the recent app update, Clapper has added monetization through "Clapper FAM," allowing users to support their favorite creators in app. Clapper FAM empowers creators with strong content and a significant following to earn money from their supporters.
Today Is America founder and TikToker Liam Rafizadeh endorsed the Clapper app as a necessary reaction to the increase in censorship.
"Clapper is one of our favorite apps because it doesn't censor content, and that's really important to us," he said. "It shows they care about our rights."
Users are raving about the way Clapper supports first amendment rights as more platforms are censoring content.
"I believe our constitution and our bill of rights are being compromised by the media," one user wrote in a review. "It's very refreshing to be able to post something and not have it shadow band for simply fact based information sharing and or being able to support conservative views as well."
Clapper is available for download to Apple and Android devices via the App Store and GooglePlay.
