CANTON, Ohio - Nov. 19, 2020 - She Elevates, a nonprofit organization, is excited to announce our annual Confidence, Cupcakes & Conversations Conference. This year's event will be held online and will teach girls age 8-14 how to create and sustain confidence. The half-day agenda features experts who will lead general and breakout sessions by age on confidence, bullying, self-esteem, human trafficking, and wellness.
Established in 2017, the mission of She Elevates is to empower and teach young girls around the nation to become successful entrepreneurs by helping them to develop an entrepreneurial mindset through idea development, business etiquette training, and mentorship.
"Building and maintaining confidence is a life-long skill that requires constant and early attention and is critically important to develop among girls 8-14, when research has shown their confidence falls by 30%," said DeLores Pressley, Founder and Executive Director of She Elevates. "This conference will be interactive and fun while teaching participants how to positively respond in new and challenging situations and reach a new level of confidence."
Confidence, Cupcakes & Conversations will be held from 10 am – 2:30 pm EST on Saturday, December 12. Parents of girls 8-14 may register the special girl(s) in their lives at sheelevates.org for $20 and scholarships may be requested during registration. She Elevates is also making it possible for each registrant to purchase cupcakes or the ingredients to make her own. The event flyer is available for download here.
