Amarachi & Gallo Wines move forward with their relationship as Gallo Wines sponsors Amarachi in feeding poll workers.
Lunch will be donated to 55 Poll Workers at the Board of Elections located at:
Ingersoll Community Center
177 Myrtle Avenue
Brooklyn NY 11201
From 5 am to 9 pm
The two companies forged a relationship during the pandemic initially teaming up to honor essential workers. Amarachi provided meals while Gallo provided wine. The duo then reconvened a few weeks later to pay it forward to the FDNY.
"It was only natural that once I decided I wanted to do this event that I reached out to Gallo who was 100% on board immediately," said Adebayo Adewumi affectionately known as 'Bub' the owner of Amarachi Restaurant. Bub shares with us his excited about this particular initiative as he has been using his platform to encourage everyone to vote.
This is his way of saying thank you to the poll workers who are sure to have a long and exhausting but extremely important day.
E. & J. Gallo Winery is the largest family-owned winery in the world today with fifteen family members and spanning three generations of the Gallo family. All actively working in the business and community.
