Mr. Schnauber is the latest contemporary composer to contribute works to NSM's ever-expanding catalog. An NSM edition of his piece for flute and piano titled Those Infernal Exsanguinators has just been published. It's a very effective, fun, challenging (but far from impossible), and entertaining composition. The listing article for Those Infernal Exsanguinators can be found at https://noteworthysheetmusic.com/score-descriptions/38-flute-a-piano/809-schnauber-those-infernal-exsanguinators-flute-and-piano; it provides a preview page of the score, text of the composer's amusing preface, and links for additional information about this acclaimed composer's career highlights and many exciting projects. There is also a link to his SoundCloud page where one can listen to an audio recording of the piece beautifully performed by Tamara Thweatt, flute, and Hey-Seon Choi, piano.
NSM will soon be publishing another work by Tom Schnauber, his A Little Grand Wedding March Waltz scored for the unusual combination of piccolo and trombone; look for it to become available in the next few weeks. While online, take some time to browse NSM's other sheet music and CD offerings at https://www.noteworthysheetmusic.com/, including works for voice, strings, brass, winds, and percussion, in addition to their large selection of repertoire for flute and alto flute.
