PEORIA, Ariz. - Sept. 13, 2020 - "The Awakening," written by Peoria, Arizona resident, Anne Williams, was nominated for a 2020 Author Elite Award, an honor bestowed for literary merit and publishing excellence in the writing and publishing industry, and is now a top 10 finalist.
Anne Williams's book is up for an award in the Best Young Adult Book category, which tells the story of twelve-year-old Emily who is learning what it means to have an old soul and the ability to manipulate elements.
"Hundreds of books from authors throughout the world are up for an Author Academy Award," said Kary Oberbrunner, founder of Author Academy Elite and the Author Elite Awards.
