MALPAS, U.K. - Sept. 7, 2020 -A picture is worth a thousand words rings true at Prospect House care home as a game of guess who places residents and staff at the heart of a personal history reminiscing game.
Residents and staff at Prospect House gathered choice photographs of themselves, from baby pictures right through the decades of their lives, to be displayed for a fun game of guess who.
Sarah Stroud, Registered Manager Prospect House Care and Nursing Home says:
"We initially started this activity to mark World Photography Day but it turned into a game of identity as staff and residents handed over their prized pictures of themselves throughout the ages.
"It was an absolute joy looking through so many old photographs trying to guess the identity of who was pictured. It gave all of us a good laugh; we've certainly all changed! The best bit was discussing the memories attached to each photograph, so much to discuss, so much history."
Perfectly situated in the centre of the historical village of Malpas, Prospect House is a beautifully renovated and maintained Georgian house. With views over the Cheshire plains the home provides residential, nursing and expert care for residents with dementia, and both short-term respite care and day care. https://www.prospecthousemalpas.co.uk/
