Riding a bicycle is also a great way to spend a day exploring the island. Tours and activities can easily be arranged through your hotel's concierge. All these activities have have high standards and a low Covid footprint.
Advice for low Covid travel is to take direct flights to your destination and minimize time at large airports. That's why Dallas, Houston, Charlotte and Miami make great staring points to Cozumel. Once on the plane, the Covid footprint is very low again thanks to the plane's air filtration system assuming everyone is wearing a mask.
