ATLANTA - Sept. 2, 2020 - The Hype Magazine Digital cover #125 is graced by internationally acclaimed celebrity trendsetter, influencer, and supermodel Simonetta Lein. Touted by Fashion Week Online as one of the top 15 fashion influencers in the world, Simonetta Lein has been featured in Harper's Bazaar, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Fashion Week Online, Vanity Fair Italy, Vogue Italy, Elle Italy, and Marie Claire Italy, just to name a shortlist of prestigious style and fashion outlets who've covered this rising icon.

Joining Lein on the insets of the issue are rising stars Daja Marie whose latest hit Closet Freakk is running wild across the internet and could be an anthem in the making; Africa's most-streamed rapper Nasty C who is representing for Hip Hop on a global scale; and rounding out the cover is Suni MF, a new find for The Hype Magazine, but one that should be taken seriously as she comes from behind the scenes to center stage.

This digital cover comes as our first since COVID-19 struck and impacted the industry bringing it to a virtual standstill. During the slowdown, The Hype Magazine got the opportunity to cull through the myriad of content submissions and we feel the highlighted artists are up to the challenge of carrying the torch for not just Hip Hop, but as the next wave of rising stars altogether.

During this downtime, our CEO Jameelah "Just Jay" Wilkerson has been expertly expanding the base of The Hype Magazine to include new digs for the brand in the Greater Atlanta Area. The Hype Lounge is now home to multiple productions which will be showcased throughout The Hype Magazine Network, including the Hype TV streaming television platform.
