This new platform offers local government executives the ability to have confidential conversations with a diverse group of other City Managers and County Administrators.

Local Government leaders are already benefiting from the Virtual Think Tanks for City Managers and County Administrators. "The Virtual Think Tank offers a unique private and professionally facilitated peer group environment" said Rob Duncan, Managing Director of Imagine That Performance, "each group is carefully selected for diversity and the quantity of members in each group is limited to ensure active participation of everyone in the group."

A Worthy Supplement to Association Membership and Training

The Virtual Think Tanks for City Managers and County Administrators are not an alternative to training. Associations offer carefully cultivated training and best practice sharing to the benefit of their members and utilize the combined resources to ensure quality content. The Virtual Think Tanks for City Managers and County Administrators is a platform to explore items where training may not exist, but the combined knowledge and experience of the small group can identify paths to desired outcomes.

The first two Virtual Think Tanks for City Managers and County Administrators have already been established and started meeting. Selection is now underway for additional groups being formed to begin meeting in late September.
