School Of Rock Eden Prairie Joins The Fight Against Childhood Isolation

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. - Aug. 17, 2020 - The school year begins in just a few weeks and will include distance learning for many of our students. We're all feeling the effects of diminished social opportunities, but we also know that COVID19 isolation can be especially hard on kids and their families.

"School of Rock Eden Prairie is joining the fight against childhood isolation by opening our doors during school hours with a day-camp program. Day camp enrollment is limited to only 25 masked students each day so that we can practice safe distancing," explained Stacey Marmolejo, School of Rock Eden Prairie franchise owner. "Enrolled campers will have the opportunity to complete school work in an individual study room and fill the remainder of the day with engaging music programming that only the School of Rock can offer. Not only does this afford parents the opportunity to go into their office or enjoy quiet as they work from home, but more importantly it helps their children grow in their social development while keeping depression, anxiety, sadness and loneliness at bay."

CAMP DETAILS
• Campers can enroll in 1 or 2 days per week.
• Camp is open to students in Grades 3 - 12.
