Find Your ID NYC Presents: The #BlackoutFundraiser Premiere

NEW YORK - Aug. 16, 2020 -The moment has arrived for Find Your ID NYC's #BlackoutFundraiser to stream a mass-coordinated Instagram Live fundraiser event. BY partnering with 30+ top U.S. Black event producers and non-profit organizers, the #BlackoutFundraiser seeks to raise $100,000 today and for the foreseeable future to supplement Black-led social and political organizations that address racial injustices. FYID NYC and its collaborators are hard-at-work towards the installation of community-building to organizations like the Marcus Garvey's Universal Negro Improvement and African communities across the globe. This collaboration intends on collecting funding for the protection of Black people and their culture. Each donation given throughout the event will go to organizations such as the Innocence Project, Black Voters Matter, and Foundation Freedom.

Known for its dedication to developing creativity on an international level, Find Your ID NYC uses innovative marketing to curate platforms for their monthly women's empowerment showcase, #PYNKNYC, and their bi-annual Xchange Fashion Festival. The global creative agency has established a cross-generational live event that addresses the importance of Black Culture and Black Lives. Despite the pandemic, collaborators have worked effortlessly with combatting the many obstacles that prevent the growth of POC businesses and organizations. Through this eight-hour virtual festival, the #BlackoutFundraiser plans to distinguish itself by amplifying the voices and movements of these communities. Participating organizations will feature events such as Caribbean fashion presentations, dance showcases, art exploration, live concerts, educational seminars, and a presentation by the featured designer, Samantha Garvey, the granddaughter of Marcus Garvey!
