August 14, 2020 - Asaba, Delta State - Nigerian Christian Teacher, Author and Blogger – Emeke Odili – debunks two major extreme beliefs about righteousness, in his second Christian book of the year, launched this Monday, the 10th of August, 2020 at Amazon.

“Most Christians are off on two extreme tangents concerning the topic of righteousness. On one extreme, are those who believe they can attain unto the righteousness of God by their personal deeds and merit. Then on the other extreme, are those who believe because of the imputed righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, whatever they do no longer count” writes Emeke.

In his newly launched book; “The Righteousness of Faith” Emeke scripturally expounds the meaning of God’s acceptable standard of righteousness, The Righteousness of Faith. He says, The righteousness of faith is the Abrahamic order of faith. And that is the only acceptable standard of faith that can confer righteousness on mankind in this dispensation of God’s Grace. That any kind of righteousness which does not follow the Abrahamic order of faith can never justify anyone.

Going further in his explanation, Emeke says the believer’s faith must go hand in glove with good works, in order to give justification. Because as James says, “Faith without works is dead”. He writes that believers, who profess faith in Christ Jesus, without paying serious attention to a lifestyle of righteousness or godliness, are actually operating in demonic faith. And that is one of the major reasons for the multiplication of sin and sinful habits in the body of Christ today. Then the other reason for the multiplication of sin, as he writes, is sin consciousness.

After expounding on the meaning of righteousness and debunking the extreme beliefs about Christ Righteousness, he reveals the different scriptural secrets of actually living out a lifestyle of righteousness. Among other points in his book, Emeke reveals some scriptural secrets which he believes if any and every believer comply with by faith, can make them live consistently above sin. A teaching which he says many believers have found very hard to receive, even though there is substantial scriptural backing.
