BALTIMORE - Aug. 13, 2020 - Each year the Women of Color STEM Conference gathers an audience of the nation's leaders in science, technology, engineering, math, and medicine (STEMM) from Fortune 500 companies, government entities, nonprofit organizations, colleges and universities, as well as local middle and high schools to celebrate the achievements of women who create innovation and inspiration in STEMM.
In light of the persistent threat of the pandemic and recent local health reports regarding COVID-19, the conference will forgo its in-person conference at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center. The 2020 Women of Color STEM Conference will host an end-to-end virtual conference experience through their online platform.
The three-day all-virtual event will take place October 8-10 and still includes great seminars and informative workshops led by experts from industry, government, and academia. The virtual conference platform also includes the Career Fair.
