NAPLES, Fla. - Aug. 10, 2020 - Thrift shoppers will be excited to learn that the Goodwill Retail and Donation Center at 1687 Pine Ridge Road in Naples will finally be reopening on Thursday, August 6, 2020. The store was closed in March when the "Safer at Home" order was issued by Governor DeSantis. That gave Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida (SWFL) time to totally expand and renovate the existing small store.
"Our Pine Ridge store was one of our most successful stores and well supported by the community," says John Nadeau, Goodwill SWFL CEO & President. "We wanted to give the community a better shopping experience."
Shoppers will be welcome at the updated facility for regular store hours 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday – Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday beginning with August 6th. A Grand Opening event will be scheduled later in the season when social distancing is less necessary. Goodwill encourages shoppers to come out and shop all of the amazing merchandise, but also wants to remind the public to respect social distancing and that Collier County has instituted a mask requirement for indoor spaces.
Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida is a nonprofit organization committed to serving people with disabilities and disadvantages by providing life-changing opportunities toward independence. The revenue generated through the retail stores supports the many community programs and services offered by Goodwill SWFL.
