Medicare – Turning 65 or want a Review – Cary Nagdeman

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Aug. 5, 2020 - Those who recently turned age 65 or soon to be 65 in the near future have 7 months to enroll in Medicare without paying a penalty. Initial Enrollment Period (IEP) is where you can enroll three months prior to your date of birth, or up to three months after your birth date. These are the guidelines to be able to enroll in a Medicare Advantage or Supplement (Medigap) plan. If you are covered under a group plan you may have options as well.

Many American Seniors on Medicare are concerned about having the best coverage for their needs. Those on Medicare have the right to inquire or change to a better suited option for their needs depending on circumstances and enrollment dates.

Veteran Seniors can obtain private doctor treatments outside a VA/Veterans' facility. The cost for qualifying Veterans is zero. Vet's can still use VA facilities and get their prescriptions thru the VA.
