July 22, 2020 - Set up in 2011, Eichers Hobby Farm offers a wide variety of goat milk skincare products that serve as all-natural interventions to replenish and rejuvenate the skin from within. Its range of artisan goat milk soaps and creams closely matches the pH levels of that of healthy, nourished skin and helps to keep dry, dull, and flaky skin at bay.
The preservative-free products of Eichers Hobby Farm are different from the commercially-available skincare products because the former contains pure milk from goats fed on a healthy diet and raised on the owners' very own farm. With a belief in holistic skincare, the owners — Jerry and Theresa — tap into the healing properties of goat milk, known to have been used for centuries for a youthful, hydrated look. These creams and soaps also come in a healthy blend of ingredients and fragrances such as lavender, lilac, peppermint, vanilla, cedarwood, and more, that are completely absorbed by the skin, leaving behind a healthy, supple glow every time.
Theresa spent more than 18 years of her life on a dairy farm and was a salon/spa owner for 21 years, after retiring from the industry in 2014. Her love for farm life and her experience in the beauty industry is what led to the birth of Eichers Hobby Farm in 2011. Getting positive reviews from her spa/salon clients who used the goat milk-based soaps and creams made by her from scratch, she decided to take it up in a big way and build her own product line.
The fulltime dairy-farming-couple milk and raise their goats on their farm and also offer goat meat products to their long-time customers in Stearns County near Avon, Minn. In addition to skincare, Eichers Hobby Farm also produces a delectable array of different artisan cheese flavors, such as ricotta, chipotle, four peppers, and chive, all of which are manufactured at the farm's licensed cheese processing plant.
