DETROIT - July 20, 2020 - One of the Detroit community's most historic non-profit educational organizations, St. Vincent and Sarah Fisher Center (http://www.svsfcenter.org/) (SVSF), has hired a new Manager of Individual and Corporate Giving.

Kevin Lill, who joined the SVSF team in July, is a fund development professional with over 15 years of experience in creating, executing and successfully meeting the goals of fundraising campaigns for nonprofits in the Ann Arbor and Metro Detroit areas.

For the past dozen years, Lill has been the Director of Development at Peace Neighborhood Center, a nonprofit offering wrap-around family services to Washtenaw County. Previous to that position, he worked in development for Covenant House Michigan, an agency delivering services for homeless and at-risk youth in Detroit.

A Michigan State University graduate with a bachelor's degree in English, Lill is the proud father of two children and lives in Ann Arbor.

"I am excited to join the team at St. Vincent and Sarah Fisher," said Lill. "I believe that the key to breaking the cycle of generational poverty lies in the education of children most in need along with the support necessary for our young adults to then put that education to work for their greatest success."

Lill's role will be focused on helping shape SVSF's goals to best assist the community the organization has been serving for over 175 years.
