FAIRBANKS, Alaska - June 29, 2020 - Construction season has arrived! Equipment Source, Inc. (ESI) is here to meet all your worksite's needs this summer, with new Kubota and JCB products available for sale and rent.
The Alaska-based company has been busily adding to the inventory at its yards in Fairbanks, Alaska, Anchorage, Alaska, Seattle, Wash., and Williston, N.D., to ensure customer needs are met.
New arrivals include JCB 270T compact track loaders, JCB 3CX backhoes, a JCB 427ZX wheel loader, and much more. The company's first JCB 1CXT compact tracked backhoes (which can operate as both excavators and skid steers) arrived on May 30, and were sold just two hours later.
These are just a few examples of the innovative machines on offer this summer.
ESI is committed to exceptional customer service, and will do what it takes to ensure the equipment you need is delivered to your worksite as quickly as possible to minimize costly downtime.
For example, it recently delivered a new wheel loader to a remote site in Western Alaska. The complex logistical process started with a truck from Fairbanks, Alaska, to Nenana, Alaska. From there, it was loaded onto a river barge and sent down the Tanana River to the Yukon River.
The 12.7-ton machine travelled all the way to the Yukon River Delta, in the Bering Sea.
"Remote logistics in Alaska can be very challenging, and there's a lot of places where you can't just run down to Lowes to get what you need," says Nick Ferree, ESI Vice President.
"One of the things we bring to customers is that we're used to working in this environment. We know who to contact to pull a time-sensitive order together, we know the airlines, we know the shipping companies, our inventory is here in Alaska. Being local is really important."
JCB is one of the primary brands ESI vends due to its commitment to manufacturing high-quality products. To view the full range of earth-moving equipment, visit www.esialaska.com/jcb.
ESI is also the sold Kubota distributor in Alaska, offering a full line of tractors, construction equipment, utility vehicles and more. View the product line at www.esialaska.com/kubota.
