ASSYST Green Accelerator Program Launches Hephaestus Best-in-Class HL7 FHIR Solution

STERLING, Va. - June 17, 2020 - ASSYST Hephaestus is a data interoperability solution for Healthcare Providers, Government, Industry, and Patients used for exchanging healthcare information electronically. Hephaestus provides the path for rapid adoption, migration, and implementation of the HL7 FHIR standard specifications. Hephaestus is an application Platform as a Service (aPaaS) solution built using open source and distributed cloud computing technology. Hephaestus accelerates the adoption and implementation of the HL7 FHIR standard by automating the metadata exploration, parsing, transmission, data mapping, and API processes. Hephaestus aPaaS provides customers with the capability to create secure API services for accessing patient, clinician, and provider healthcare information. Hephaestus aPaaS provides customers with an API zero trust security solution that protects data exchange information at the data layer. Our metadata explorer, parsing, and mapping solution automate the schema generation, data formatting, and data validation processes. Our API zero trust security solution with advanced analytics and visualization capability provides the user community with the interfaces and security needed to implement FHIR data standards successfully.

As the industry adopts FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) standards, Healthcare technology partners with relevant capabilities can help agencies accomplish the compliance targets and milestones using Hephaestus aPaaS. Utilizing FHIR specifications, we have implemented Hephaestus aPaaS to meet key implementation requirements for CMS Interoperability and Patient Access final rule (CMS-9115-F). ASSYST offers Hephaestus to customers for establishing FHIR API services and gateways, performing API configuration, and implementation, building USCDI-compliant FHIR profiles, and exploring, parsing, and mapping FHIR specified data. ASSYST Hephaestus aPaaS is implemented using distributed cloud technology and deployed either On-Premise or in a Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure (HCI).

"Widespread adoption of Healthcare interoperability standards will have a significant impact on the health and wellness of current and future generations. ASSYST Haphaestus FHIR solution is helping customers achieve their data interoperability technology goals and objectives.", said Joe Anderson, Chief Operating Officer, ASSYST.
