ATLANTA - June 15, 2020 - Restaurant Casi Cielo has been confirmed as the location for this season's first Viva Tequila Festival's Dinner Series. Scheduled for July 24th, from 6:40 to 8:40, it will coincide with the annual celebration of National Tequila Day.
Viva Tequila Festival's Dinner Series currently takes place in Atlanta and features small-batch, hand-crafted Mexican tequilas not yet widely available in the U.S. Those looking for a more VIP experience can upgrade to the top-shelf and higher selections include a range of Blancos, Reposados and Añejos served up for sipping, or stirred and shaken by expert mixologists in cocktails that highlight their essence and flavors.
Festival producers have been traveling around Mexico, hand-selecting some of the most unique agave spirits made by the country's micro-distilleries to bring a one-of-a-kind opportunity for Atlantans to taste limited-edition and small-batch Tequilas and Mezcals.
The Viva Tequila Festival team has been working with the owners of Casi Cielo to ensure neatness, cleanliness and hygiene while work with the restaurants chefs has focused on developing a special menu for the night, pairing each dish with the right Tequila partner.
Atlanta's fine dining, farm-to-table and ethnic street food gastronomic scene is the perfect companion for the dinner series as it offers the opportunity to partner participating tequilas with diverse dishes. Partnering with Mexican restaurant, Casi Cielo, was a perfect fit for this year's first event as it falls on National Tequila Day.
The Viva Tequila Festival is Atlanta's only celebration of Mexico's Spirit, taking place on Oct. 17, 2020. The third edition of the festival is expected to welcome more than 5,000 guests and transform Piedmont Park into a celebration of Mexican culture — specifically its food, its music and, of course, its Tequila.
Please check our calendar as additional dinners as more dates will be confirmed for the season.
The Viva Tequila Festival is a proud sponsor of the Georgia Ovarian Cancer Alliance (GOCA).
