SANTA MONICA, Calif. - June 8, 2020 -The road to recovery can be lonely and full of obstacles. One entrepreneur hopes to lighten the burden and help people pursuing sobriety and serenity stay focused with a new recovery lifestyle brand launched this week.
"Got Serenity" was unveiled with new website on June 1. The website features free content and interactive tools centered on recovery from addiction, a 12-step mindset, and achieving serenity through vigilance and ritual. The site also includes an ecommerce store featuring inspirational products to support the recovery lifestyle.
The company was founded by entrepreneur Greg Moul to reinforce the principles of recovery while helping people strike a healthy mental and emotional balance in their lives.
"Recovery is a progressive journey that requires the willingness to take continuous steps," Moul said. "Got Serenity is designed to build a community around the process of pursuing serenity. Our intention is to support people on the road to recovery from mind-altering substances while promoting products that achieve a similar end."
Got Serenity's signature product is "The Serenity Bracelet," an interpretation of the 12 principles of recovery (honesty, hope, acceptance, courage, trust, willingness, humility, integrity, forgiveness, vigilance, ritual, and service) that, when worn, reminds the wearer that he or she is on a principled path to peace. The bracelet, a trademark pending product of B.C.DOgood LLC, comes in silver, gun metal, and gold, with different lengths available.
"Our tasteful and simple Serenity Bracelet was designed to keep the 12-step principles at hand and front of mind, accompanying an individual on the road to recovery," Moul said.
Other inspirational items available at Got Serenity's store include "HP" (higher power) dice and gratitude note pads.
