GREENVILLE, Pa. - June 7, 2020 - Thiel College's new Master of Business Administration program also includes a path for non-business majors to acquire a sought-after business credential.
The enrollment deadline for students in Thiel College's new Master of Business Administration program (https://www.thiel.edu/admissions) is June 15 and classes begin in July.
"This is a great opportunity to gain a degree that will distinguish and elevate graduates in the business world," Chair of the Arthur McGonigal Department of Business Administration and Accounting and M.B.A. program director Anthony Kos, Ph.D. "The modern workplace is moving in a direction where an advanced degree is going to be not just preferred but essential."
The M.B.A. in Leadership is a collaborative effort with the College's Department of Media, Communication and Public Relations.
"Thiel College is being creative to find an entry point for professionals who might not have majored in business but have found themselves in leadership positions in the business world," Chair of the Department of Media, Communication and Public Relations Kyle Woody, Ed.D. said. "The leadership program also opens the door for students of any major to graduate in five years with both a bachelor's and a master's degree."
Anyone who has earned a bachelor's degree can earn a Leadership M.B.A. from Thiel immediately following the successful completion of a competency exam. Thiel College requires the completion of the MBA IQ exam for non-business undergraduate majors. The GRE or GMAT are not required.
Thiel leadership M.B.A. students will learn in an intense accelerated cohort-based experiential residential learning environment. Graduates will be connected to the Thiel College network that includes C-level executives in a variety of industries and companies.
The program features an individualized experiential learning experience that includes intensive project-based coursework, work on team projects in cohorts that build long term relationships, and a required graduate assistantship to work on campus or in businesses.
