CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - June 4, 2020 - Tuesday, Bitreel was selected to participate in MassChallenge's 2020 accelerator program. Bitreel was one of thousands of other startups to apply for the MassChallenge accelerator programs in Boston, Rhode Island, Switzerland, Houston, and Austin.
Since March, MassChallenge's world-class network of investors, serial entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and academics have evaluated applications based on each startup's ability to demonstrate high impact and high potential in their respective industries. MassChallenge is committed to supporting and inspiring the latest innovations that will reshape our world.
"We are very excited to be part of the 2020 MassChallenge cohort," said Cosmo Kramer, CEO of Bitreel. "MassChallenge is recognized as one of the best accelerator programs globally and our team is honored to be one of the roughly 9% of startups selected from around the world. We are particularly excited to gain access to MassChallenge's global network of experts and resources. We plan to leverage those resources to reinvent the mobile shopping experience."
Bitreel is reinventing mobile shopping with augmented reality. They develop virtual showrooms and 3D products that enable customers to digitally overlay products into their homes. The result is higher conversion rates, higher average order values, and lower returns. Bitreel continues to grow clientele in furniture and home decor as augmented reality is expected to grow 250% to $3.1B by 2022.
