BETHANY BEACH – Every May the Regal Awards are presented by the Builders and Remodelers Association of Delaware, also known as BRAD (formerly the Home Builders Association of Delaware) to highlight excellence in the Delaware home building industry. And even though COVID-19 squashed the possibility of celebrating in person, the Association, along with their Sales and Marketing Council, made the decision to have the 28th annual Regal Awards ceremony virtually on the originally planned date.
Along with many esteemed winners, iKANDE, a Bethany Beach web design company won Best Informational Booklet for an Associate with less than 25 employees for their 2019 promotional calendar. iKANDE was presented with the honor on May 15, 2020 during the virtual ceremony held online with nearly 100 participants.
iKANDE owner, Damien Golden, said "It's an honor to receive an award that illuminates the important work our clients entrust to us. We design an annual calendar that highlights promotional projects for local companies and municipalities. It was also exciting to see one of our clients, Turnstone Custom Builders from Rehoboth Beach, win a Regal Award for the 15th Anniversary logo our team created for them".
Damien Golden, with a graphic design, advertising and marketing background, started iKANDE in 2006. Her small staff provides affordable award-winning web design, graphic design, print and social media to medium sized companies in the home building, real estate, law and hospitality fields.

Regal Award entries are submitted online by home builders, remodeling companies, associates and affiliate BRAD members state-wide. Regal Award judges are then curated from outside the BRAD organization to impartially review and assign scores to all the entries. Winners are unveiled at the annual Regal Awards and most of the winners are highlighted in the Regal Book magazine.
