DELRAY BEACH, Fla. - May 21, 2020 - Mizner Country Club's Pre-k, 5th grade, 8th grade, high school and college graduates got a special surprise yesterday afternoon as cars paraded by their houses in celebration of their graduations while Mizner's culinary team presented each graduate with a specially prepared celebratory family meal. The parade route included 13 of its community members' homes to recognize their children whose graduation ceremonies were cancelled.
Determined to make their special occasion and accomplishments memorable, cars were decorated with signs congratulating the graduates, while the Mizner's culinary team presented a bottle of wine to the proud parents of each graduate.
Larry Savvides, Mizner Country Club's General Manager and Chief Operating Officer said, "Just because our graduates were not able to walk across the stage due to school closures, doesn't make their success any less important. Our management group all felt that we wanted to recognize this important time in their lives in some way. We are proud of each one of them and wish them all future success and hope we can celebrate more momentous occasions with them."
The parade took place from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
Mizner Country Club is one of Delray's premier country club communities consisting of over 470 classic Mediterranean architecture luxury homes.
