Award Winning, Atlanta-Based Doctors Challenge Companies to Host a Night of Change & Hope

ATLANTA - May 19, 2020 - In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Corrective Chiropractic is using this time to redefine their company relations with the Night of Change & Hope. Held virtually through Zoom on May 13th and led by the Corrective Chiropractic team, the conversation hinged on one very important topic: discrimination.

The two-hour call, that was attended by 21 of Corrective Chiropractics team, was a safe space for employees to openly share their views and perspectives on a range of topics, including gender inequality, domestic abuse, anti-semitism, mental disorders, and race relations.

"It was one of the most eye-opening experiences I've ever had personally. And to have this with my staff and to hear their personal stories has made me realize how we can work better together as an organization to support each other and to be sensitive to our differences," Austin Cohen, founder of Corrective Chiropractic explains.

Spurred by the recent media coverage of Ahmaud Arbery, the 25-year-old African American man who was unjustly murdered in Georgia while out on a neighborhood run, Cohen (an avid runner himself) wanted to do more to show his support and bring about change.

"I know when we can come together and shed light on what people experience, we can start to change not just company culture, but the larger society, especially how we interact with one another." Cohen added.

Following the perspective-shifting call, Cohen is calling on 100 companies to pledge to hold their own Night of Change & Hope. The premise is simple: use this time to connect with your employees on a deeper level and give them the space to share their experiences on tough (but important) societal issues.
