WARREN, N.J. - May 8, 2020 - Get Ready to Celebrate National Mini Golf Day This Saturday May 9th
Did you hear that many golf courses opened this week? Wish you could get out and take the family to a super fun miniature golf course? Are you and your kids stuck at home, running out of things to do to keep the family entertained? Try this fun Mini Golf at Home challenge. Using objects you already have around the house, design and then play your mini golf hole. You can build your mini golf hole any day, but don't miss out on National Mini Golf Day – this Saturday
Here are the tips from SherylGolf
* Make it fun and interesting, but not impossible
* Use anything you have in your house
* Build it on either tile/wood/carpeted floor
* Build it with safety in mind (Avoid jumping over a sofa, or creating an obstacle that makes the ball come close to breaking your favorite item (or a window)
* Remember it is all about having FUN
Simply build your own mii golf hole in your house, take a picture and post it on the Mini Golf at Home facebook page.
Whacky mini golf – playing on the same hole design but whacky ways
1. Blindfolded
2. Stand backwards and hit between your legs
3. Hold your 'club' like a pool stick
4. Standing on one foot (play it like a flamingo)
5. Playing with your opposite hand
6. Putt with your foot (like a soccer player would)
7. Place the ball on the ground and use your nose to advance the ball
8. Twirl around two times before each putt
9. Play from your knees
10. Play one handed
11. Hand putt – no club, just your open hand/palm
