PORTO SALVO, Portugal - April 29, 2020 - EWF announces its unique Learning and Industry Talks podcast series, a novel approach that brings together top industry members to discuss the most pressing issues faced by the industry to ensure their long-term workforce capabilities meet industry requirements.
The initial four podcasts, available at https://soundcloud.com/ewf-be, provide a unique insight into the unique features of the harmonized qualification system developed by EWF with its members and the challenges and opportunities that arise from new learning methodologies, as well as new areas that have been developed, such as the Additive Manufacturing qualifications systems.
According to Rute Ferraz, EWF General Manager, "We are always looking at innovative and advanced ways of learning and informing our ecosystem and the broader community of people who are engaged on manufacturing about developments from EWF and its members. As a result, the podcast series we are now starting to use also caters to younger generations by leveraging tools that they use more regularly, while providing the uniqueness and convenience of learning on demand."
Future podcasts will discuss in length separate areas from the system and how the qualification system works. The podcast format has been increasingly adopted by many professionals to learn and stay informed, and it aims to bring more professionals who are needed to fill in many of the required positions in many industries. It follows similar approaches on evolving learning methodologies, from online training to a modular learning and gaming methodologies that have been gradually interwoven into the fabric of the qualification system.
