FOOTHILL RANCH, Calif. - March 20, 2020 - The Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) announced Tuesday that Image Options has received the SGIA 2019 Safety Recognition Program Award for its efforts throughout the past year. The annual program runs from January 1 – December 31 and acknowledges those SGIA members who integrate health and safety into everyday business practices.
"Image Options takes pride in our diligent safety initiatives, and we are so pleased to be acknowledged by the SGIA Safety Recognition Program. In 2019 Image Options earned 1000 points, the highest point total in the program's history to date," notes Dave Brewer, CTO, Image Options. "I would like to thank our managers and safety committee members for all their hard work toward achieving this."
SGIA member companies receive "points" for specific safety activities and initiatives, such as developing a new safety policy, creating a safety training program for new hires and providing worker safety training. Participants then submit documentation for each activity.
"We congratulate Image Options for being a leader in its field in implanting health and safety practices into its operation throughout all of 2019," says Marci Kinter, Vice President, Government Affairs, SGIA. "Studies show that companies that focus on safety and health issues see improved performance in areas ranging from morale and productivity, to operating and insurance costs. We look forward to continuing to see Image Options move into 2020 with these initiatives, and more."
Image Options looks forward to continuing their leadership in workplace safety as well as innovative experiential designs and visual solutions.
