TAMPA, Fla. - March 20, 2020 - NEW YORK, March 18, 2020 – Inc. magazine today revealed that Web River Group is #15 on its inaugural Inc. 5000 Series: Florida list, the most prestigious ranking of the fastest-growing Florida-based private companies. Born of the annual Inc. 5000 franchise, this regional list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the Florida economy's most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses.
"Over the last year, the focus has been driven by improving the customer experience. Recently launching a few new features on our website to help customers find what they need more effectively and efficiently. Customers can check out the interactive wheel and tire package configurator, where they can put together their own set of wheels and tires at an unbeatable price. This tool among others has helped the company hone in on our customer needs.
Our call center is a key cornerstone to our success. The goal is to make sure that if a customer has any need, they can get in contact with a person quickly instead of sitting on an automated line. This is one quality that is important to 4 Wheel Online so we can continue to dominate the online retail world of trucks, cars and ATVS".
The companies on this list show stunning rates of growth across all industries in Florida. Between 2016 and 2018, these 250 private companies had an average growth rate of 302 percent and, in 2018 alone, they employed more than 56,000 people and added $12.6 billion to the Florida economy. Companies based in the Tampa, Miami, and Naples metro areas
brought in the highest revenue overall.
Complete results of the Inc. 5000 Series: Florida, including company profiles and an interactive database that can be sorted by industry, metro area, and other criteria, can be found at inc.com/inc5000-series-florida-2020 starting March 18, 2020.
"The companies on this list demonstrate just how much the small-business sector impacts Florida's economy," says Inc. editor in chief Scott Omelianuk. "Across every single industry, these businesses have posted revenue and growth rates that are beyond impressive, further proving the tenacity of their founders and CEOs."
Web River Group started in the small town of Evergreen in the foothills outside of Denver. It was difficult to find and keep employees due to the remoteness of Evergreen. The decision to move was made. After examining multiple markets both within Florida and other parts of the country, we settled on Tampa Bay because of the access to a higher-skilled labor force, International Airport access making it easy on vendors to meet and a great community for our families and our employee's families.
