OAKLAND, Calif. - March 20, 2020 - Teachers using the Canvas LMS have a new resource available now at canvasquicker.com that lets teachers update modules, pages, assignments and due dates for classes all on one page, quickly, for free.
CanvasQuicker was built for teachers by a teacher to help save time in the midst of the COVID 19 crisis.
"With not much notice, huge changes to the way our classes are conducted were mandated and had to be done basically overnight," says creator Christopher Potter, "I saw a need in my life and my colleagues' lives to be able to update assignments quickly but the Canvas UX makes it a time consuming process."
CanvasQuicker addresses that problem and is free for anyone to use. It allows users to connect their courses and then modify assignments and modules directly on a single page. When edits are completed, those changes are sent back to the Canvas course, making for speedy updates to course content and due dates.
"Anything we can do to help teachers save even an hour right now is worth it," says Potter, "they are adapting to a lot, making changes to classes every day to help our kids learn."
CanvasQuicker offers a free website at canvasquicker.com where users can connect courses built using the Canvas LMS and then update assignments, modules and dates from multiple courses all on one page. CanvasQuicker was founded in Oakland in March of 2020.
